Creo Mapkeys

Mapkeys are macros of a command or multiple Creo commands that can be executed with as little as a single keystroke. These mapkeys can then be assigned to an icon and placed into the user interface so a single mouse click on the icon will execute the command(s).

Mapkeys can be created by users and administrators. Users can create mapkeys to help reduce the mouse clicks and key strokes required during repetitive commands while interacting with Creo. Administrators can create mapkeys to enforce company standards and also to ensure consistency among all users.

The mapkey function in Creo can be accessed by the following methods.

1. File | Options | Environment | Then click on Mapkey Settings…

2. Type map into the command search field.  Then click on the Mapkeys shortcut.
